Eco Zone

Pupils and staff at St Maria Goretti are striving to help the environment and be and eco zone. 

How are we helping the environment?

- Recyling bins for paper in every classroom and staff offices.

- Gardening club recylce plant waste using compost and plant fruit, veg and plants. Create bird feeders and bird and bug houses to help wildlife.

- Eco club have designed and made posters reminding pupils to turn off lights, taps and electrical items; walk/cycle/ scooter to school rather than drive where possible; recylce at home and school etc.

-Lunchtime litter pickers ensure the playground stays clean.
